As an architectural designer for over 20 years at Moore Architecture Ltd and having been a carpenter for a year, Jonathan Moore saw a need for a good set of standard plan documents ready to build throughout New Zealand. Without the long expensive individual custom design process and also having the flexibility to choose your own builder or be a developer.
These standard designs have been pre-approved by the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment (MBIE) as a National MultiProof document, which means that the set of plans & specifications for a building complies with the New Zealand building Code.
This speeds up the consent process time down to 10 working days, which also saves you in council processing fees.
Plus Jonathan has included a trade summary with quantities for quicker build cost estimates. These layouts have been built before from these design’s
They do not show any finished colours, but Kitchen Joinery & Electrical plans are included within the plan set.
Also pre-approved products that can be substituted while under construction without the need for a council amendment are.
